Paper_Mario_64: Cease to Be

Author: Ninjastyle124

Ever have that one game that you adored growing up? A game that you still love even after it wore down due to new games? I have, and I bet all of you have had games like this too. This game happened to be Paper Mario, for the Nintendo 64. Let me give you a brief overview of what this game is before I go into the story. Paper Mario for the Nintendo 64 was the first in my personal favourite video game series. Unlike most other games starring our fat Italian hero, this is an RPG! Obviously not the first Mario RPG, but it's set apart from the other Mario RPGs in the sense that... it's made of paper, visually. The game is known for its lighthearted humour and simple, yet dark storylines, which balances the overly childish feel with a sense of "Hey, this is serious", and my response to that is... Yes. Anyhow, I'll start with the story.

How it began...:

It was only roughly three or four months ago, when life was getting tough for me and my family. With divorced parents, and a brother who dislikes me, things got stressful easily for me. What helped me through stressful times though, was to look back on my past and play video games from my childhood!

One night, I was sleepier than I've ever been before in my life, yet I couldn't get to sleep, for the life of me. Stressed out due to a fight with my brother, I couldn't shut my eyelids, so there I was on my computer one day, browsing the 'interwebs' for the lulz. Also didn't help that I lived next to a busy road with cars roaring every few minutes

As I grew more tired I realized I needed the rest, but I had one last thing to do before I went to sleep. I logged onto my email address at 3 AM in the morning. Three new messages. Great... Opening my inbox, I really wondered who the hell could have emailed me at this hour.

First two messages weren't important at all, just junk alerts from websites I haven't used for years, though the third caught my eye. From my father, who lived on the other side of Canada. He had told me that he was sending a gift for Christmas day tomorrow!

At that moment, I was pretty eager, and I knew I needed some rest now. I closed everything I had up, shut off my computer, and went to the bed next to my computer, awaiting tomorrow...

__

I was already halfway downstairs before I realized that today was Christmas day that morning, and my face was eager. My brother was fast asleep, and same with my mother which was disappointing but whatever. I knew the gift would get here today, and since my family was asleep, it wouldn't be under the tree. I made my way to the porch, happily, and opened the front door to my house, opening the crappy mailbox next to my wall. I felt... a parcel!

I snatched it out eagerly and looked at it. Written in it in red pen ink, was "From: Dad. Your welcome!"

I rushed inside, and opened it, hoping it was something great... Inside was a wrapped gift, and a card. I opened the card slowly and read it, and it stated this:

"Hey, my young man! I know this gift means a lot to you, you used to own it before. Bought it at the new game store in the city. Enjoy. Lot's of love, Dad."

This got me even more excited and I tugged out the wrapped gift, which was in a square shape with a curve... I unwrapped it swiftly, and I noticed that it was a Nintendo 64 cartridge! I flipped it over to the title... and I felt a wave of nostalgia hit me like a truck. Paper Mario, one of the greatest games of all time. I was a bit confused that the game itself wasn't in the original box.

I couldn't wait... and so I took off downstairs, into the basement, where my old TV and old, rarely used Nintendo 64 laid in await for this day... I slammed the cartridge in, turned on the TV, grabbed my controller and slid a chair. I was in for hella' an adventure.

Into the Game

The Nintendo 64 started fairly enough. It glitched out a tiny bit for the first few seconds of start-up, but it was understandable. I haven't used it in years. The titles of the developers shown up one by one, and then the title screen popped up, with the catchy, upbeat, innocent music that defined this game. I sat there for a bit, listening to the music, and the little title sequence of game footage played like you see in most games. Seemed intact enough, I guess.

I clicked start and the game seemed a slight bit choppy while it was transitioning from the title screen to the save screen, but I again dismissed it for being the lack of time I've used the console. What struck me odd was that out of the four save files, one of them was used. It was named, "BETA TEST". I wasn't as surprised, though. I was prepared to face the fact this was a used copy of the game considering that it was not in the original box you get at stores, though the name of the save file struck me odd. Was this a beta of the game? I didn't know, but oh well.

It also struck me odd that unlike the other files, the used one only said the name of the file, not the progress, time, or anything.

I didn't delete it though, but I didn't play it at first. I created my own save file, and named it something witty: Bananas. Yeah, witty. Sarcasm. The game started as usual, Parakarry delivering the mail to Mario and Luigi's house, Luigi fetching the mail, and bringing it into the house and talking to Mario. Right then, a speech bubble should have appeared with a few lines of diologue, but it didn't. Luigi just stood there oddly, with the letter in his hand. I had full control of Mario, oddly enough as well. You shouldn't get control of him until you get into Peach's Castle!

Oh well, it was probably just a bug... But why not explore? I mean, this shouldn't happen in the game. I walked Mario towards the exit to his house... and a text bubble popped up, "Locked"... That was odd itself. Locked, even though the door didn't have a lock on it and this was a bugged area. Why would a developer put a lock in an unintentional bug?

Not sure what to do, I walked up to Luigi and tried to interact with him. Upon clicking the A button... Mario fell down to the ground dead. Not gory, just the usual game over animation, with the game over music. I pressed to continue and randomly appeared in the clearing near Goomba Village!

Alrighty... That was odd. Maybe the game will resume to be normal from here on out? Don't know. So I walked to my right and went towards Goomba Village. When I entered the village, no music played and the area seemed empty. Nobody, none of the friendly Goomba family. The houses were still there. I entered the Toad House, confused. The Toad was there, though the toad appeared to be in the corner using an animation that seemed to be cowering, but in a way that matched the game's atmosphere. Odd... Was this a hacked version? Or was this truly the beta?

I went to talk with the Toad and I got the response, "Existence." ... What was that supposed to even mean? I clicked the A button again, trying to talk. "Existence." I clicked A again. This time I couldn't interact with toad...

I was becoming confused. I was able to interact with the bed in the room, but I wasn't sure if I should do that. I was at full health, afterall. I went towards the door, and tried to exit, and a speech bubble from the Toad popped, "Locked together, the door will not budge. Please end this."  The door didn't open. I walked towards the Toad again, and it said, "End the game. Turn it off." I tried to talk again many times and got the response "...". I gave up,  and noticed that the bed was interactable. I clicked A.

Right now, I wasn't that scared. More of confused really. It seemed like a hacked, darker game, nothing more. But when I clicked A to interact with that bed, I got a game over, but instead of getting the typical game over screen, I got a textbubble.

"Cease to Be, game over. If you are reading this, wake up. Please wake up and see what you have done. Please show me you are better than this. Wake up."

The bubble started to fade away, and after ten seconds of blackness, another bubble appeared.

"DON'T WAKE UP. DON'T WAKE UP. DON'T WAKE UP. AWAKEN OR CEASE TO BE. DON'TWAKEUP.IBEGOFYOU."

That finally got to me. Freaky. I still dismissed it as a hack, though, and whoever created this was one fucked up bastard. I sat there for at least two minutes and realized that this last text bubble won't disappear. I turned off, and on my Nintendo 64 and the title screen was silent and different. It said this, "Cease to Be" with a picture of what looked to be a bed underneath the title.

I started getting nervous, and went into the save file selection. My save file, Bananas, was renamed to Rest in Peace. The third saved file was named, "YOU_ARE" and the fourth was named, "ERA_OUY" I was getting nervous, theses profiles weren't used when I created Bananas...

I tried to enter these two save files and I got the message, "There was trouble loading this save."

I was getting sweaty. This wasn't right at all. I only had one option because I was afraid what would be in Rest in Peace. It was to go into "BETA TEST"

And that I did. I entered and I immediately got put into the Forever Forest, though it didn't seem right. No music at all, and I heard the crackling of fire in the game, though saw no flames. The sound of crackling fire was the first thing I really noticed, and it overpowered my ears. There was also a hint of static in the noise too, making the sound seem like a cluster of loud, eardeffening madness. Mario was partnerless in the forest as I tried to walk him about, though he seemed to be moving on his own as if I were in a cinematic. Mario seemed to appear normal enough, and the world seemed normal except for a lack of enemies and that there was a bit of static every now and then covering the screen. With each different area Mario enterered, a chat bubble appeared. In the first area he went to, the chat bubble said, "NO!"

The second, "Cursed."

The third, "You doomed yourself."

The fourth, "Why did you kill us all?"

It kept on saying dark, harsh, and unclear things until Mario finally entered Toad Town, where the static noise and fiery crackling was louder than ever, and it was on fire, though nothing appeared to be there except for one person, Princess Peach, standing there alive. Mario uncontrollably walked up to her, and disturbingly enough, she lacked a face.

In the midst of flames dancing around, Mario seemed entranced, as he walked up into the embrace of the faceless Peach, and static started to appear as nearly clear, and slowly began to solidify into whiteness. Before the game became unwatchable, I noticed one thing. Mario's face too, disappeared, and the exact second before the entire screen was lost to static, the words, Ceased to Be, appeared, as well as what appeared to be Princess Peach and Mario dead below the words, faceless. There was no blood or gore. It just seemed to be two faceless bodies, Mario and Peach, below the words.

The crackling of flames disappeared to static and the screen disappeared to static... and in shock, I threw my controller and broke my TV screen. This wasn't a hacked game, this was hell. It had to be. This was hell...

And to this day, I still do not understand what it meant by saying... Cease to Be.

Now, I know there's plenty of Minecraft creepypastas and stories about Herobrine and crap, but this is something that has nothing to do with that fake player.

This all took place during MineCon 2012. I met lots of Minecraft youtubers, and we talked, and they actually listened. It wasn't until the second day of MineCon that this CreepyPasta starts though. I had just come out of the conference area with Notch's autograph, and a person with a 'Tobusucs' hoodie on walked by me and dropped an envelope that said, "To Jack." I didn't pick it up first, there could be hundreds of Jacks here. I started looking around for the person with the Tobuscus hoodie, but I couldn't find him. I decided, what the hell. I put it in my backpack, which was growing quite heavey, and kept moving.

When I got home the next day, I started looking through my backpack. I dug around and found lots of candy, some gift codes, then I found the envelope. I opened it up, and found a blank CD in it. Okay.... I thought. I put the CD in my computer, and immediatly the Minecraft.exe homepage started up. That's not too weird, I mean it's Minecon, people would definately give away free copies of Minecraft. But I already had Minecraft...so what was this for?

I noticed that someone else's login info was already put in. Now I have TWO accounts! Now I can do MAJOR trolling! I thought to myself. I pressed "login", and the Mojang screen loaded. But at the corners of the game screen, I noticed black holes. That was kind of weird, but nothing could have prepared me for the title screen. All the buttons were re-textured differently, which isn't possible. They also had VERY large black cracks in them, all in different places on each button. The MineCraft logo was changed to the point where it didn't say just MineCraft, but it also had .exe in such small text, it was almost unreadable. This was starting to get scary.

I pressed 'Texture Packs' and it showed me I had no texture packs installed, it just showed Default. I pressed 'Cancel' and decided to go to SinglePlayer. Then, out of nowhere I heard a terrifying Enderman Scream, and the game was only 1.3.2 at the time, so that couldn't have been possible to get.

After a long while, the SinglePlayer page loaded up, and the only world was named "Run". I couldn't click create new world, rename, nothing except for "Play". I was now very freaked out.

It loaded up, and my computer immediatly got the Blue Screen of Death. I held back a scream, not of fear anymore, but of anger because I probably got a virus. Why did I ever think that putting in a random CD would be good?

I restarted my computer and went back to Minecraft. Everything was the same. It even changed to my login info! I pressed 'login' and it started logging me in normally. The title screen showed up and the buttons weren't changed at all. Great!

I pressed singleplayer and everything worked properly, and I had all my worlds back. I decided to log in to a singleplayer world I liked a lot. It all went perfectly normal until I heard that noise again. It was back to how it was, but worse.

The world loaded, but everything was darkened, as if I had a blindness potion (which also hadn't been added yet.) I knew exactly where I was suppose to be, in my house, but I wasn't. I then realised that my items were gone. I did what I thought was turning around, but just came face to face with an enderman, creeper, and every other hostile creature in the game. The slowly started moving towards me, and I couldn't move. The enderman noise played again, this time getting so loud it busted my speakers, and smoke began to rise from my laptop. But the noise kept playing. I then realised it wasn't coming from the game, it was behind me! I turned around and was face to face with an enderman, in real life. I could faintly make out a 'Hello, Jack' before I watched the enderman rip out my guts, and teleport away. The cops came to find poor Jack dead. All thanks to me, the enderman.

I logged on to ROBLOX, when I saw that there was a new server made by the ROBLOX moderators. It was called "testing123", which I found odd. It looked like 207 people were playing on this server, so I decided to join in. After a minute of loading, the server finaly opened up. It was a dark, empty baseplate. I couldn't see anyone in game, however I could still chat with all of them. The chat was filled with stuff like "CREEPY SHIT MAN, BY GOD". More and more people got disconnected from the server until I was the only one left. I left the server and went to the forums. There were multiple posts on the topic of this seemingly a spambot, I clicked on one of them and alot of replies were made by a user called "Never". Later then the posts got deleted, and the user page was fully deleted. Not even a ban? There was a post by an admin saying "We are bugfixing some updates soon :D". The post got spammed by the user "Never2(insert messed up ascii kirby)"saying "Don't hurt me".

After that the ROBLOX site was down for a while, when it came back the 207 accounts were deleted; I had to use my alt and I was glad I proxie, or they'd IP ban me too. I guess we'll "never" figure out what happened.

Console me.

I had enough money to finally get a new system my dream was finally gonna come true I was gonna get an xbox 360 I asked the clerk were they kept the game system's he pointed to the back of the store I quickly ran to the back of the store picked up an xbox then got games like borderlands and other games when I got home I quickly set it up and started playing borderlands I finished the main campaign in one day (one day) bye now all the aliens were getting harder to kill all of a sudden I crate pops in front of me its my first orange weapon the most powerful weapons in the game I started playing another game and all of a sudden I hear a voice hello get the headphones in the box I got them and I was able to interact with her a couple weeks later I fainted all of a sudden I hear my flatmate say I'm sorry next I wake up in a room completely white I hear the woman say  come in hear and you'll be like me there is no choice.

Minecraft:Someone is watching me.

You know the feeling, when you walk out in the woods at night, and you feel something is watching you? And you just want to get the heck out of there?
There IS something out there.
And it WILL get you. I recently broke my computer, and had to use my old laptop, to play minecraft on.
As one would expect, I could only play on low video settings.
That means I could only play with thick fog, so I could barely see what's infront of me.
I started a new world, and did what any other players would do: Chop some wood.
I took down a few trees when I felt like someone is watching me.
I looked around, and saw no one. Thinking that I must be paranoid, I shugged it off and continued to chop some wood.
When I started making my house, I felt someone near me again.
I turned around, and saw a shadow behind a tree. Thinking it must be a cow, I went after it to get some food and lether.
As I went over to the tree, I couldn't see anything. I turned around towards my unfinished house, and saw a player in it. Confused, I checked that I chose singleplayer and didn't choose LAN world.
Sure ennough, it was single player. When I went out of the menu, the player was gone. A sign was where he stood. It said, "Hello, neighbor." Freaking out, i broke the sign and finished the house.
The next day, outside my house, was another sign. This time it said, "That was not nice."
I broke it again. Scared, I went out with my sword, trying to find the player, who is placing theese signs. I searched for hours, with no luck.
But suddenly, I saw a figure at the end of the fog. It ran, and I chased it.
It jumped down a hole, I followed. The hole was deep. It ran all the way down to bedrock. I died from the fall, but in my death screen, the player was still alive.
I respawned, but in an area I wasn't in before. It was a huge forest, with no end. I walked around for hours, still not finding an exit to the forest.
Suddenly, I found a sign. Thinking it must be from that player again, I read it.

"You like my forest?"
Now I was scared. I reached for the escape button but when I pressed it, the menu didn't pop up. Instead it asked, "Join me?" with the answers, yes and no. Scared, I pressed the no button. The sign now said, "You can't escape my forest." Now, I was frightened. I ran, as much as I could. Finding more signs, all saying, "You can't run from me." Suddenly, the signs stopped appearing. But now, I could hear a voice. "You're mine."
I turned the speakers off, but could still hear him. Then I ran into a dead end. I turned around, and there I saw him. Inching closer, but walking. It was like he warped closer to me. As he got closer, I began to hear his voice inside of my head.
When he got to me, the voice stopped. But all I could see was his face. The lifeless face, the empty eyes. It was like he exist.
Then I suddenly hear him saying, "Join me, and be free from your fear. Silent be by my side, and never... feel... again."
Then the menu popped up again. "Join me" it said, yes or no.
I clicked yes.

You know the feeling, when you walk out in the woods at night, and you feel something is watching you? And you just want to get the heck out of there?
There IS something out there.
And I WILL get you.

First off, I just want to start off by saying, for those who think this is going to be another cliche with all the hyper-realistic blood and there were lungs here and blood here, don't worry this is not going to have anything to do with gore or blood.I know you see Minecraft.hb and you assume that "hb" stands for "Herobrine" but no it's not Herobrine. It is something much worse. He is hadul baramură or in english "Bloody Hell"

Minecraft.hb

It all started one night when I purchased Minecraft. I payed $27.00 for it. I downloaded it and created a new world. Before I created a new world I went looking for some mods. I downloaded "Too Many Items" "Butter Mod" and "Mo Mobs Mod",But then I noticed a mod that said "Hell Biome" I clicked on it and my computer had said "Minecraft.hb has been sucsessfully downloaded". I wondered what the hell happened for a moment. I didn't even click the download button. I closed out of the window and went to bed thinking my brain was just playing tricks on me. That night I had a dream of me punching a tree then I just burned down. The next morning I forgot all about the strange download and opened Minecraft. I went to create a new world and there was already one there called "Bloody Hell". Thinking I just created it last night and forgot all about it I entered the world. I spawned in a village with no villagers. The only thing odd was a sign thhat said "hadul baramură" and another that said "Thank You". I dismissed and and went looking for some trees but then saw something wierd. A complete biome made of Netherack with a Nether Brick temple in the middle. I exited this world and deleted it. I then created a superflat world but when I spawned I sw the most terrifing thing ever. It was this wierd mob the size of the ender dragon, the body of the wither, the head of a creeper and arms which looked like villagers when attacked. I tried grabbing a sword from the creative inventory but before I could even think I was switched to Adventure Mode. The giant endercreeperwithervillager thing said "I AM BLOODY HELL, THANK YOU FOR RELEASING ME BUT NOW YOU MUST DIE". All of a sudden I felt as though I was melting I was growing. My face changed and looked green and then I started floating. Then the best thing ever happened, I, Bloody Hell was realesed from that game. But at the quickest secong I was trapped back in there. Then two voices spoke, The first said "Well another one bites the dust Jeb" and the the other said "If only there was a way to contain him and make it so that he couldn't hurt anyone Notch" then the other spoke again and said "One day Jeb, don't worry". Then before anything everything went black and then I was back into my Minecraft Prison. Who will be next to set me free, why maybe you reader, maybe you. Now guys that was not so scary but I would not want that mod and how it just downloaded was just weird.

Hi, i would like to share with you people something creepy that happened to me, is not something that creepy tho, but it did creep me out, at least to me, it has to do with minecraft, and NO is not herobrine, and NO it has nothnig to do with me confusing a mob with herobrine or anything else.

This is rather diferent.

I was playing minecraft single player on survival mode, hardcore, heres the seed if you want to check it out:

-5420369715-

Anyways, i had built a house near the beach, and near my house there were plenty of mines, most of them were small and contained a little bit of coal there, a bit of iron there, nothing special, once i had mined all the mines surronding my house, i decided to move on onto another part of the map, most specificaly a snowy part, i always liked the way they looked, so i packed all my stuff (the important stuff anyways) and i began my journey, i think it took me half an hour to get somewhere snowy and good looking, so i made my house (with cobblestone if you guys are wondering), it was rather simple really, i placed my bed, my chest, i should stop for a bit to tell you about the soundtrack, i like the soundtrack, who doesnt? I prefer more upbeat music, but it never bothers me the relaxing tunes of the soundtrack, the only thing that ever bothered me is that the music pops up at random, i always wished it was always there, heck, sometimes it pops up when im in the middle of a mine fighting for my life, rather ironic isnt it? Anyways, moving on, after setting my house on top of a small hill.

(note: a hill surrounded by a big forest, at the distance you could see more mountains ahead, a big lake to the left surrounded by more trees, and to the right, even more trees and more mountains, again, just in case you are wondering)

After one full night, i decided to go out and hunt, i found some animals near a mine entrance, i decided to give it a quick check, not much, actually there was nothing just a few steps in and i could already see it was a dead end, no cole, no iron, blah blah, i could hear some zombies tho, but it was just a nearby spawner, i never got close to those things and never will, unless the loot is good, but is mostly is bread and wheat, or i think its wheat, anyways, i hunted some animals for food, leather from a cow, i was on my way back home when i heard the music pop up, it was the same relaxing tune, at least one of them, or at least i though, it started of like one of those tunes, but it slowly built up to somethnig completely diferent, it was...well imagine the minecraft song "Dry hands" but a bit more upbeat, it still had that relaxing feeling to it, but it was more upbeat more energetic, i stopped to hear the music, the sound of my footsteps were bothering so i stopped, like i said, i was impressed to hear this new song, i had never heard it before, maybe it was an update that came recently and it added a new song, thats what i though, so i shrugged it off and moved on with my day, i spent one full night making up some new tools, cooking the food i gathered and what was left of the night i spent it sleeping, sleeping in minefraft of course (duh!)

After that, i thought it was better i continued tomorrow, so i turned off the game and moved on with my day, the next day i booted up minecraft before dinner, so i loaded the seed, and i played for 10 minutes, no music popped up, i was mining when it started playing, same tune, no changes, i did not care at that time, i kept on mining found some redstone (in case you are wondering it was in that same mine i saw near my home, i just digged through the dead end) after a while it ended, then more minutes of silence, then it played again, i thought it was odd since most of the time another song plays, but oh well, i did like that new tune so i did not care, besides i was too busy mining, but something made me freeze, the song, it ended when it was halfways, that kind of disturbed me a bit, maybe it was a sound glitch, but it never happened to me before, and it happened with that new song it just appeared from nowhere, my guess was that the update that added that song added some glitches or something, anyways, after that i thought i should get back home, right then i did not feel like being somewhere dark, so i ran back out, it was almost night-time, i ran back to my house, and it played again, just like that, it started all over again, same tune, same notes, same everything, keep in mind it did not take me much time to get back home, another glitch, i thought, so i turned off the game, ate dinner, watched tv, i slept through the night, blah blah, next day played some games and went back to minecraft booted up the seed...and there it was, right way when i was in the map, the song played all over again, that creeped me out real good, i just rubbed my forehead, iwas getting tired, i turned off the game and i checked to see if an update happened...nope, no update, no nothing, i looked in google for same cases as mine, came up empty, it was just me it seemed, i looked through the files of the game to see if i had some mod installed, or something, i only used a graphical mod, i checked the file "Music" thats where all the classic music for minecraft is and guess what, i found a soundfile called "Cliche" i loaded the file and it was the same song, the one that was bothering me this whole time, i made a copy of it, pasted it on my desktop, and deleted it from that file.

I booted up the game again, silence, sweet silence, i smiled and went back to mining, problem fixed i thought, boy was i wrong, minutes later BAM, there it was again, same freaking song, i quickly turned off the game checked through the files, there it was again, same spot, deleted it, but not after checking the properties of the file, all normal, just another file, i deleted it and booted up the game expecting the same result, i loaded the seed and.

Another song played.

This one was, completely diferent except one thing, it started of like another classic song, and it slowly built up to another completely set of notes, it sounded...well for starters it did not have that relaxing feeling, it sounded more like...ever watched a horror movie? Where the movie slowly builds up to that scare and theres this music usualy made by an orchestra, there are these violins making that continuous shriek, getting louder and louder as the moment approaches, well imagine that, imagine the song "Mice on venus" the more upbeat parts being played over and over but with a even louder violin, hell it made me feel like i had an angry army of creepers behind my back, i began to look around the maps looking for that army of mobs ready to kill me, but no, i was alone, well, not for long, it was almsot nightime, i ran back to my house, keep in mind i was in the mine, i ran back, once i got inside my home, it was already night, the song just kept on playing, i turned off the game, went back to the files blah blah and there it was, another file just below the newly spawned "Cliche" file, the name of this new file gave me shivers down my spine.

It read, my username, along with a question mark.

I shit you not, i almost crapped my pants, i fell my intesines just loosing, i was even afraid of clicking on the file, i did not want to play it, maybe, like a scream would play or something scary, keep in mind at that time i was very disturbed, i did copy the file tho, pasted on my desktop below the "Cliche" file i copied before, even tho there was no need since the files would just respawn, i felt like turning off my pc but i was intrigued, i googled for awnsers, came up emtpy again, checked more files of the game, came up with nothing, i was so tired, so very tired, i loved minecraft and i still do, and i hated that some creepy ass sound files destroyed my experience, this had to be a hack, a virus, SOMETHING.

After some thinking and some more googling, i decided to boot up the game, i live alone and at that time i really wished i did not, i turned the volume down, just in case, i booted up my seed, i was in my house, there was no music playing, it was nightime, zombies, skeletons, and other mobs walked around the land like the owned it, the square moon shined, everything was fine.

i was looking out a window mind you.

When i turned around to go to the bed, i saw that all cobbelstone that i made my house with was now replaced by obsidian, my bed was still there, but it said i could only sleep at night, weird because IT WAS FREAKING NIGHTIME, ow and did i mention there was no door? Before i even realized that i was already being atacked by a zombie that walked right in, i managed to kill, my sword broke, but i got hurt pretty bad, that scared me so badly it took me a while to react, i checked my inventory, all the food i had, rotten, all my tools? Nearly broken, my torches were intact tho, i went to check the chest that was by the doorway, it was empty, all my stuff gone, but that did not bother me much, because i had something worse in mind.

I decided to block the doorway with some cobblestone turned obsidian that i had in my inventory, i was safe for now, i looked outside and the number of enemies just doubled, now zombies and skeletons were surrounding my house, hell, if it wasnt for the glass on the windows i could have gotten killed by all the skeletons, and good thing the house was now made out of obsidian, or else the creepers would have blown me up.

Ow did i mention another song popped up? And did i mention this new "song" was just a jumble of random annoying screeching sounds, like just all the sounds from the game just glitched out and decided to make squeaking and screeching sounds, and someone just decided to put em all together?

Well, thats exactly what happened...

I did as always, i turned off the game, checked the files and below the soundfile with my username there was another file it was called "Hello", copied the file, went to the kitchen to have a drink, went back to the pc, lowered the sound even more, and booted up the game, booted the seed, and it was pretty much the same, obsidian house, enemies outside, there was no music tho, but i knew, that it would play again at any time, there was something diferent tho, in the distance, there were no mountains, lake and such, large obsidian walls surrounded me and the nearby areas, the walls were so high i could not see the end of them when i looked at the sky through the window, the sky was all pitch black, like in the ender dimension, i looked back at the mobs surronding the house, and i noticed that the ground was all soulsand and that in the middle of my house there was a hatch, i opened and looked inside, pitch black, like the map just ended in there, i closed the hatch, not sure if i should jump in, then...

Another jumble of sounds played, it was diferent, the sounds were as last time but it was a diferent set of sounds, as always, turned off the game checked the files and...

i saw another sound file, this one was named "BYE" on capital letters, i felt watched, i felt tired, disturbed, watched, many feelings at once, but there was one feeling that just ruled my mind, curiosity, at least this was not hurting me, nor killing me, it was just a game, i scrolled down and saw 10 of the same files all saying "BYE" in capital letters, agian curiosity got the best of me, but this time more doubts popped up, clearly this was not going to get any better...,copied file, pasted on desktop, booted up the game i lowered the sound to the point i could not hear anything, i booted seed, same spot, same creepy looking place, same hatch...and...

Somehow all the mobs had turned into endermen, they stood there, staring through the window, obviously i did not stare back at them, there was one way out...the hatch, i opened it and without thinking, jumped in, the screen turned black, pitch black...

After 1 minute of the same screen pitch black screen, the menu screen popped up, my first reaction was to check the seed...

Gone...

I remembered to check the files, so i did, there was a new file, all the other files were gone, the ones on the desktop as well, this new file read:

"Listen"

I quickly deleted the file emptied my trash bin and just simply sat there for a bunch of minutes, thinking, my fear just got the best of me, besides...

i wanted to sleep tonight...

Luigi Forgotten

I am a major fan of Sonic and Shadow the Hedgehog and the others, but I am also a major fan of Mario and Luigi. Luigi is my favorite character from the Mario universe and so I am always looking for Luigi related games and attire. Several Saturdays ago, my friend, who will remain anonymous, and I were at my uncle's garage sale. My uncle was a huge gamer all his life and he has been my role model all my life.

While searching through the hundreds of games he had collected over the years I noticed one particular game that caught my eye. It was a GameCube game with Luigi on the cover doing a mid-jump pose, and the title was "Luigi's Time to Shine!" I thought it was a cool looking game and i showed it to my friend. He encouraged me to buy it, even though now I wish he hadn't.

I paid my uncle the money and took the game home and, once I had reached my house, my friend told me ,"Goodbye," and left, leaving me home alone while my mother was probably at the bar and my father working. I went up to my room, hooked up my GameCube, and put the game in. When the GameCube started up I noticed that the sound was slightly delayed, but thought nothing of it.

The Nintendo logo popped up on the screen with the usual coin sound effect. Luigi's face appeared on the screen and looked happy with a green background, cheerful music, Yoshi and Mario in the bottom left corner, and Daisy in the top right corner. The words "Press Start" flashed below Luigi's face and so I did what it said. It brought me to a "Select a Save File" screen and I chose the first file. A picture of Mario and Luigi showed on the screen where Mario was tied up and Luigi was saying,"I'm sorry Mario, but sometimes your brother, Luigi, needs some moments of glory too."

I thought that the picture was funny and the game started up the first level. This is where things went down hill. The level name was "Take What's Yours" and I thought it had meant that someone had kidnapped Daisy, but instead it showed Luigi with a knife up against Mario's throat. Luigi simply said,"Now it's-a my turn to be-a the star!" and slit Mario's throat. There was a sickening gurgling sound as Mario was gasping for air and died.

A cut scene began and the graphics were that of Super Smash Bros. Brawl as rain poured during a dark night and Luigi's silhouette could be seen atop a tower. Lightning flashed and Luigi's face and front could be seen as well as Luigi holding Mario's corpse above his head. Luigi's eyes were red and had a demonic smile on his face. His gloves were stained with Mario's blood and his clothes were soaked and wet from the rain.

The inhabitants of the Mushroom Kingdom, including Peach, Daisy, Yoshi, and Toadsworth stared in horror and disgust up at Luigi. Luigi opened his mouth and his words felt like ice down my spine and venom in my ears as he shouted," Now I am the star of the game! I am the hero! All will bow before me and worship me as king or perish like Mario!" Luigi threw down Mario's corpse and it landed with a sickening one crunching thud and everyone gasped in horror and some screamed in terror. Mario was dead.

At this I turned off the game and looked at the cover but it had changed. Luigi was no longer smiling, but frowning as if sad I turned the game off, and the background was entirely black. The title had changed from "Luigi's Time to Shine!" to "Why Did You Stop Playing??" I took the game out, snapped it in half, and threw it out.

I put in Super Mario Sunshine just for the heck of it because my GameCube was already out and i wanted to forget what I saw. I thought to myself,"What kind of sick, twisted person would make such a game?" and waited for the game to start. Instead of Bowser Jr. doing the laugh at the beginning, it was a demonic version of Luigi laughing. The title screen changed to a black background with the sad Luigi. Luigi's mouth opened and said,"Luigi forgotten, abused, and betrayed. Why don't you want to play with me? I'm so lonely. Why am I the sidekick?"

His words were cold and seemed to be longing for something. It seemed as if he wanted an answer from me but, before I could answer, the screen started breaking up my GameCube shut off. I tried to turn it back on but it wouldn't. I didn't tell anyone about this and for days I tried to turn it back on but it wouldn't. I decided to put it away for a while and that night, I heard a ghostly and soft voice whisper in my dreams,"Don't forgot ol' Luigi."

pokemon dead channel

I was introduced to the video game realm a tad later than most other people. For most, if not all, of my early childhood I was isolated from other kids, and I had next to no social interactions. My days were spent in a prison like school and my nights rotted away with mind-numbing TV. Life was dull and boring, and all I had were my stuffed animals and cheap, plastic toys to talk to. That's when I got a Gamecube.

It was the Christmas of 2003, I believe. I was overjoyed at having my own video game station. It came with the games Super Mario Sunshine, Pac Man World 2, and Pokemon Channel. Each of those games still hold a special place in my heart today. As soon as the Gamecube was set up and ready to go I began playing it immediately.

The first game I played was Super Mario Sunshine. This game is what got me hooked onto the Mario series. After playing it for hours straight, and finally finding a level I just couldn't get past, I turned to Pac Man World 2. Amazingly enough, I got stuck on level two. Infuriated that I couldn't find the way out even though the answer was literally right in front of my eyes, I quit and started playing my first ever Pokemon game:

Pokemon Channel.

As soon as I turned the game on I knew this game was going to be different from the other two. It didn't take long for me to fall in love with the game. When the time came for me to name my Pikachu I unwittingly named him BRVR, short for Brother. What compelled me to give him such a strange nickname that didn't even sound like a shortened version of brother, I'll never know, but regardless, I still enjoyed playing.

There is no way for me to describe the love I felt towards this game. It was everything that I had ever dreamed of. In this game I had a friend that I could play with. It all took place in the Pokemon world too, which I had already loved before I even got Pokemon Channel. I could watch TV with my best friend BRVR, go fishing with him, play tic-tac-toe with him, talk to other Pokemon with him, grow a garden with him, build a snowman with him, explore ancient ruins with him, play musicals with him, sit around camp fires and tell stories with him, gaze at the stars with him, all the things I never got to experience in real life, I was able to do in this virtual world with BRVR, the best friend I never had.

I was obviously overly addicted to the game, but I had nothing else to use up my time with, so instead I put it all into this game. Oblivious to all the things happening in the real world, I prefered to live my life in this Pokemon fantasy with my best friend, BRVR.

BRVR seemed like more than just a virtual animated 3D model forced to do his actions based on the programming of the game, he seemed real to me. If I was ever sad one day, he would appear to look and act depressed too. If I was ever angry, he would show and express my rage during that play of the game too. If I needed something to cheer me up, he would act silly and leap at me and do other idiotic things too. Later on, when I grew older and wiser I just assumed that all of these strange events never really happened and when I was younger I had just simply imagined it, but it was still fun to pretend he was real.

As the years past I got more games. I had acquired a Gameboy, which along with it came more Pokemon games, where I could have more than just a single Pikachu. My interests also floated to different series like Mario and Sonic. After playing Pokemon Channel so many times and doing the same things over and over again it starts to get a bit boring. I started playing it less and less and other games more and more, but I still gave Pokemon Channel a play every now and then.

Eventually I changed schools and my whole life changed. I was moved from a private, christian school to a public school and my eyes were opened to reality. I started to learn new things about real life which helped me enjoy it more. People weren't mean and cruel to me, they would greet me when I passed them in the halls. I discovered I could do more than just play video games, I could draw, there were thousands of songs I could listen to, and my grades started dramatically rising.

But the best part of all was that I got a new friend. A real friend. One who was flesh and blood. She was funny and helped me get used to the school and was someone I could talk to besides my parents. We both had the same immature and mock everything in every possible way kind of minds. I finally had a best friend.

While I started to grow in both body and mind Pokemon Channel was slowly forgotten. I moved on to greater and better games. Almost all the things I could do in the game I was able to do in real life now. BRVR was replaced by my real life best friend. He and the game had become obsolete, forgotten on a dusty shelf in a dark corner of the room.

For the next couple of years life was golden. Each day I would learn something new and I had a ton of fun with my best friend. I made a few other friends too, but no one could top my best friend. Every now and then I'd get a new game, get some money, go do something with my best friend, draw something, listen to music. I never wished for anything more.

Good things never last.

Eventually I had to move. I protested and threw a fit but to no avail. Trying to stop the tears from falling down my face, I told my best friend good bye on my last day at that school. For the next few nights I cried myself to sleep at my new house, but eventually I stopped. Having one of my main reasons to live in life ripped away tore a whole in my heart that will never be completely healed, but the pain eventually became less and less.

I still had contact with my best friend though. We both had Youtube accounts and we would talk to each other over the internet. We'd call each other too and have sleep overs and sometimes see a movie together, but it hurt to not have her at school anymore. I made some new friends at my new school, even more than at my old school, but none of them were as funny as my best friend. None of them could replace her.

Just when I thought I could get used to this lifestyle one of the most dreadful things happened. For her sake, I won't post what my friend did, but she did something horrible and my mom refused to let me speak to or see her ever again. My heart was utterly smashed into thousands of pieces. I felt like I had nothing left to live for. My best and what felt like only friend was now gone from me forever.

I now sunk back into my old habits, playing video games and isolating myself from the rest of the world. I didn't like to go out anymore. I refused to leave my room except to go to school, eat, use the restroom, and visit my dad every other weekend. Now that my best friend had been snatched away from me, and that I didn't do anything in real life anymore, I needed something to replace them.

Searching through my ancient shelf of old games, I pulled out Pokemon Channel. I brushed the dust off of the cover. It felt like it had been an eternity since I've gazed upon the game. I insterted the game disc into the Gamecube, grabbed my controller, and awaited to greet my old virtual friend, BRVR.

A tear fell down my cheek as memories flooded back while I stared at the title screen. After a moment of soaking in the old nostalgia, I selected continue. I eagerly selected yes when the information appeared of my currently saved game asking if it was correct. As the transition Pokeballs rolled across the screen I just couldn't wait to see BRVR again.

When the transition was over I appeared to be in my room. The normal cutscene where Pikachu is asleep on top of the shelf and wakes up didn't play, but at this moment I had almost completely forgotten about that. The only thing on my mind was BRVR. As I searched around the room though, he wasn't anywhere in sight.

"De bi de? De bi dee!"

The Delibird that deliveres the goods you buy from the Shop 'N Squirtle channel was at the door. I smiled warmly at the sight. I remembered I bought something from that channel almost every day when I was younger. I thought I must have bought something the last time I played and completely forgotten about it. Curious about what was in the delivery, I eagerly headed for the door.

"Pikaa..."

A deep moaning sound stopped me before I could reach the door. I turned the screen and saw BRVR climbing out from under the bed. He looked beat up and depressed. I had never seen him climb out from underneath the bed before, except for when he's searching for the Pokemon Mini in the beginning of the game. When he turned and saw me a shocked expression came over his face, like it normally should.

"Hey Brother, it's me!" I whispered even though I knew he couldn't hear me. Instead of a joyous look and cheering, "Pika pikaa!!" he aquired an infuriated look on his face. I was a bit confused as to why he was angry, but before I could ponder at the subject, "De bi dee!!" The Delibird called again from the door.

Banishing the whole incident from my thoughts I turned and opened the door. I was comforted when the Delibird handed over the box and BRVR smiled and waved as Delibird flew off. "A package arrived with merchandise from Shop 'N Squirtle!" I quickly pressed A as that message appeared.

I wondered what was inside as BRVR leaned inside the box and took out the items. "You got a Pikachu TV Z! The Pikachu TV Z has been displayed." A menacing and quite gruesome looking Pikachu TV was set up in replacement of my old Voltorb TV. It looked like a Pikachu head facing towards you with it's jaws wide open. Inside it's mouth was the TV screen with it's fangs hanging over the top and bottom. It looked like the skin was tearing and ripping apart at places, like the TV screen was too large for it's mouth. I was a bit shocked at how scary the TV looked.

"You got Red Wallpaper Z! The wallpaper has been displayed." I gasped when the wallpaper was put up. It was dark red like dried blood. Pikachus with sick, twisted smiles were repeated all across it. They each were bright red like freshly drawn blood. I was beginning to worry.

"You got Pikachu Doll Z! The doll has been displayed." I winced with fear when I saw the morbid Pikachu placed on top of one of the shelves. It had the same eerie grin as the Pikachus on the wallpaper, except with long fangs. It's eyes were small, ruby red, and dilated. The tip of it's tail curved inwards like a hook, and it had sharp looking claws. Numerous dried streaks of blood ran the length of its body.

"You got Pikachu Doll Z! The doll has been displayed." "You got Pikachu Doll Z! The doll has been displayed." "You got Pikachu Doll Z! The doll has been displayed." The same sequence happened over and over until the entire room was filled with the disturbing Pikachu dolls. They replaced all of the other dolls.

BRVR got up and looked around the room. He nodded in satisfaction and walked towards the TV. I sat in my chair stricken with fear. Even though it had been years since I've played the game I knew these items were never in it. "Pikaa." A threatning and commanding call came from Pikachu. He was standing in front of the TV giving me a glare. I knew he wanted me to go over there.

I walked to the TV and turned it on. It opened to the Report channel like normal, but to my horror the screen looked like it had blood dripping down it. I changed the channels and they all looked that way. I quickly opened up my diary, which in this game is the start menu, and clicked on the TVS tab. I chose the Voltorb TV, but as soon as I did my diary closed without me pressing B. BRVR was staring at me with a threatning glare and shook his head disapprovingly.

BRVR turned back to the TV and changed it to the Fortune Channel. This channel seemed normal except for the blood dripping down the screen. "Choose your cookie!" The words drifted by the bottom of the TV screen. I choose the top one like I always do. The cookie floated down into the Chansey's hands and cracked open.

"Do you really want to know your fortune?" The words appeared on the screen. I froze with fear. Something about that fortune seemed eerie. It appeared that the Chansey on the screen was laughing.

BRVR changed the channel again. He changed it to the relaxation channel. Instead of the fluffy Mareep, what greeted me where morbid Pikachus that looked just like the dolls jumping over the fence. I quickly pressed B and went back to the center of the room. Normally BRVR would turn around and motion me to came back and watch it with him, but this time he didn't seem to care.

I walked over to my old painting. A beautifully colored Jirachi surrounded by a cute Pikachu border hung against the wall. I sighed with relief. At least one thing was still normal. I took a few moments to stare at the old painting, mostly just because I didn't want to look at the gruesome wallpaper or the horrifying dolls.

"BRVR is looking at the painting too"

Chills went through my spine as that message appeared even though it was normal for your Pikachu to stare at your painting with you. I pressed B and sure enough BRVR was standing in front of the painting. It seemed like he had a sad expression, like he was remembering long lost memories. He turned to me, still with the same depressed expression. He looked like he was about to cry. I felt sorry for him and wished there was something I could do to cheer him up.

BRVR walked up to me and asked me a question, which is normal for your Pikachu to ask you a question and every now and then, but what made my blood chill was what he asked, "BRVR wants to know if you still love him." It had an O (Yes) and X (No) option. BRVR has never asked that before. I immediately clicked O. He smiled, and then bent over laughing. I was a bit confused as to why he was having a laughing fit. When he was done laughing he looked back up at me with an evil smile. A message appeared at the top of the screen, "BRVR knows when your lying." He turned back to watch the TV.

By this point I didn't know what to do anymore. I knew for sure that all this wasn't supposed to be happening. I thought that maybe if I restarted my Gamecube everything would go back to normal. I got up and reached for the restart button, but when I pressed it nothing happened. I pressed it a second time and still nothing.

"The game cannot be reset right now" The message appeared on the screen. My heart stopped beating for a second. After dumbly staring at the screen for a solid minute, I sat back down, and decided I would continue playing. "Might as well see where this goes..." I whispered to myself.

I just looked around the room for about a minute. Other than the wallpaper, dolls, and TV, everything seemed to be the same. I tried to smile while looking at the old Pokemon Mini and posters, but I couldn't bring myself too. The normally cute and cheerful music seemed to make the room more dark and distrubing. It looked as if all of the morbid dolls had their eyes focused on me, like they were about to reach out and grab me, then slowly tear apart and devour my flesh...

"BRVR wants to go outside." The message appeared on the top of the screen. Before I could do anything though, BRVR went outside and the game forced me to follow him.

My breath caught in my throat when I went outside.

The sky was blood red with even darker red clouds swirling in it. Strewn all across the lawn were dead Pokemon corpses. I couldn't tell what many of them were, most of their limbs were torn off, their faces shredded, entrails everywhere. I felt sick, like I was about to throw up.

BRVR circled around them, then turned to me and gave me an evil grin. He walked up to me and asked a qustion, "BRVR wants to know if you like what he's done to the place." I immediately clicked X. His sick grin deepened even more. He walked over to a Skitty corpse and threw it at me. It's body parts broke off and flew everywhere as it bounced off of the screen. After many agonizing minutes of being forced to watch BRVR toy with the dead body parts, he walked over to the garden.

When we stepped into the garden two plants were fully grown. Instead of fruits, they had grown Pikachu heads. BRVR plucked one and started to slowly eat it. My lunch started to rise up my throat but I forced it back down. I tried to turn away from the gruesome sight but something glued my eyes to the screen. After taking his time BRVR walked over and ate the other head. Once he was done he cast me a wicked smile and leaped out of the garden, again I was forced to follow him.

BRVR was aparently done messing around outside and went straight inside. I was hoping he was done and we would just stay inside, I now much prefered the morbid dolls over the body parts, but he wasn't done showing me the world he had created yet. Almost as soon as we went inside BRVR went immediately to the back door. Guess who was forced to follow yet again?

When we went outside there weren't any more corpses much to my relief, but the sky was still an ominous blood red. When I tried to go back inside he wouldn't let me, BRVR would just turn and give a disapproving shake of his head, so I was forced to stand there. The Viridian Forest bus pulled up and BRVR walked up to it without me even clicking on it. The transition played normally, the bus riding over the map to the Viridian forest, but when we got there, the whole forest was on fire.

Dead Pokemon were laying everywhere as the trees wildly burned, their bodies charred black by the flames. BRVR seemed unaffected by the blazing fire. He skipped over to the patch of mushrooms. They looked like they were bleeding. BRVR ate one without asking for permission and gave a satisfied nod when he was done.

Then he ran over to the bell that starts the Pokemon concert. Instead of BRVR being surrounded by Clefairies, he was surrounded by those morbid Pikachu plushes. Using the bells they played the most haunting and blood-chilling tune I had ever heard. I was awestruck. It sounded so beautiful, yet so horrifying. It was high pitched and made my ears ache, but I was in a trance and couldn't think to turn the volume down. After what seemed like years, the play was finally over.

Glancing around, BRVR seemed satisfied with the burning forest and headed back towards the bus. Again I was forced to stand outside my house while I awaited the next horrors BRVR would inflict upon my eyes. I thought he would want to take the Mt. Snowfall bus, but he had other ideas. He just let that bus just pass on by. Instead he decided to take the bus to Cobalt Beach next.

Same simple transition, same horrifying scene. The beach was littered with pieces of corpses of the Pokemon you would normally find roaming around there. The ocean looked like blood, and floating in it were more body parts from the dead Pokemon. It then became aparent to me that BRVR didn't like other Pokemon.

We then played a game of tic-tac-toe. Instead of rocks, we used internal organs for the pieces. BRVR beat me by a long shot, although that was because I couldn't think straight using entrails as Xs and Os while being surrounded by dead corpses. He laughed when he beat me, like this was all normal and supposed to be happening. Then for a brief moment a look of regret and sadness swept over his face. I felt a longing to reach out and comfort him, so I used the c stick to pet him, but as soon as the cursor touched him his normal infuriated and demented look came back. He ran off over to the fishing area with a little person called me unwillingly following behind.

BRVR stood on his rock and threw out his fishing line into the blood ocean, waiting for a bite. I did nothing, for there was nothing I could do, but he turned and gave me a menacing glare like I was supposed to be helping him. That's when I remembered the bait. I clicked on the jar labeled bait, but instead of a chocolate glazed doughnut, I got a rotting brain. It was falling apart and covered in a greenish brown mold, yet it was still throbbing. I quickly tossed it into the ocean.

Shortly afterwards, BRVR caught something on his line. With a great yank, the creature came flying out of the ocean.

I swear to god, this creature shall forever haunt my dreams.

It looked like an oversized, dark purple Magikarp, but it was foaming at the mouth while a green, acidic blood poured out from numerous gashes all along it's body. Multiple organs clung to the many spikes sticking out from it's body. Parts of it's scales had been scraped away exposing muscle underneath, and some parts of the muscle looked like they had been eaten, leaving bones sticking out. It flopped around and gasped for air while disturbing, gurgling sounds emmited from it's mouth.

I screamed when I saw the vile creature. BRVR turned to me as if he had heard me and grinned. He slowly climbed down from the rock, taking as much time as possible to let the wretched creature suffer that much more. Then he started to eat the Magikarp. While it was still alive. I screamed again and covered my mouth as my eyes were forced to watch the gruesome sight. Once he was done with his meal he turned back to me and smiled a happy, playful smile. I couldn't believe this monster was once my close virtual friend that I looked forward to seeing every day after school.

After that traumatising event, BRVR cheerfully skipped along down the beach back to the bus stop singing, "Pi ka Pi ka chu~" His merriment made the situation that much more horrifying. While waiting for the Mt. Snowfall bus BRVR stood in the middle of the walkway staring at me. His face was blank and showed no signs of emotion. Even though I knew he couldn't hear me, I whispered, "W-Why, why are you doing this..?!" A tear started to fall down my face.

"BRVR made this world to please you." My blood turned to ice when that message appeared at the top of the screen. BRVR casted me another sick, wicked grin that stretched from cheek to cheek. More tears started to sneak their way down my face. The Mt. Snowfall bus finally arrived. I don't know if I was happy at the sight or petrified at the thought of facing another gruesome scene.

Same things as before, innocent transitions, not so innocent sights. Frostbitten carcasses lay strewn out ungloriously across the frozen land, most half buried in snow. Surprisingly, there was no blood or entrails laying about. This area had a more sad atmosphere than morbid. BRVR slowly walked over to where Kecleon and Jigglypuff would normally sing, but since they were dead and buried under the snow, who knows where he took their place.

BRVR sang the most beautiful, yet saddest song I had ever heard. His harmonious voice sounded like violins playing the most tear jerking tune I had ever heard. He had a depressed and sorrowful yet focused expression while he sang the tune, which is just what the song sounded like. I couldn't control the tears that started flooding down my face while he sang. My poor emotional heart broke in two listening to this sorrow drenched melody.

After what seemed and eternity BRVR finally finished. He looked me dead straight in the eyes with the most sorrowful, depressed, and utterly hopeless expression anyone had ever seen. I longed so much to hold him in my arms and comfort him, but he quickly turned away and ran towards the second half of Mt. Snowfall.

We stood in front of the Ruins of Truth. For many moments BRVR just stood dead still while staring at the ruins. Then he glanced at me, a deep meaningful look in his eyes, and ran inside. It was jet black inside, like it was supposed to be. He used a thunderbolt to light the electric flowers, which caused the entire ruins to light up. All along the walls, ceiling, and floors many different words were written in blood, "Help me" "Why?" "I must die" "KILL ME" "It's so cold" "I'm so lonely" "Where is she?" "Come back" "Why can't I die?"

BRVR walked over to the other side of the ruins where the True or False tablet stood. I was forced to click on it.

"BRVR was abandoned by his best friend years ago to be replaced by a new best friend and was left to rot alone in this virtual world. True or False?"

I finally understood what all of this meant. All those words written on the walls, they were from BRVR. This was all my fault. I left him. My best friend. To die alone. No, he couldn't even die if he wanted to. He was forced to drag out his misreable existence over the years. I didn't blame him for wanting revenge on me, I deserved this.

I slapped myself across the face. What was I thinking?! BRVR and Pokemon Channel was just a game, I wasn't supposed to devote my life to them. They were only meant to be created to amuse and entertain the mind of a child. They weren't real. I took a minute to ponder over my last statement, they weren't real. I thought about all the things BRVR had done traumatise me and get revenge for abandoning him for so long.

Hell, this was all just too real.

I selected O for true, because it was. I admitted to abandoning BRVR and leaving him alone to rot. Instead of the tablet sinking back into the ground, it glowed green as if in approval with me. The screen slowly faded to black.

Except for BRVR.

He stood in the center of the screen with a tired, angry, yet sad expression. I didn't know what to think of him anymore. I hated him and wished I really could kill him, but I felt sorry and wanted with all my heart to help him and make things better.

"BRVR feels the same way about you."

Those messages didn't shock me anymore. If anything I was expecting it. After a few long moments of just staring at each other, I finally started to lose it, "What are you going to do with me now?!" I asked.

"BRVR wants you to suffer the same way he did." the game answered.

He casted me one last wicked grin, the widest and most grotesque I had ever seen, and the screen cut to black. After a moment, the title screen appeared. The continue button was gone. I sighed in relief that this horrifying reunion was over. I got up and looked back at my desk.

On it was a Pikachu Doll Z.
